The Georgia Chapter of SCI is scheduled to host its Annual Wounded Veterans Fishing Weekend at Lake Lanier during the weekend of July 7-9, 2023.

The weekend’s festivities kick off with a Friday evening dinner at Rooster’s Café, where veterans and volunteers will gather for a great meal and have a chance to get to know each other. On Saturday morning, veterans and volunteers will set out for an 11-boat fishing tournament on Lake Lanier. Following the morning of fishing with some of Lake Lanier’s best captains, lunch will be provided. Later Saturday evening, guests will board the Amistad, a 100-foot houseboat owned by Tommy and Chantal Bagwell, for a three-hour sunset dinner cruise on Lake Lanier, feasting and fellowshipping even more throughout the night.
